Fiestas de l'Eixample 2026 | International Meetup in Barcelona | New in Barcelona 2nd day (May 30th)

There is something special about Barcelona's neighbourhood festivals. On May 29, 2026, we met in Eixample to explore one of the city's most vibrant local celebrations. The streets were filled with people enjoying the atmosphere, discovering different activities, and spending time outdoors. It was another opportunity to experience Barcelona from a more local perspective while meeting both familiar and new faces from our international community.

Some people joined because they wanted to discover a different side of Barcelona, while others simply wanted to spend the evening meeting new people. By the end of the meetup, what started as a simple walk through Eixample had become another afternoon filled with conversations, laughter, and shared experiences.

The Eixample Festival combines local traditions, culture, and community spirit. Events like these remind us that some of the most memorable experiences in Barcelona are often found in its neighbourhood celebrations and in the simple moments spent exploring the city together. The festival is known for its cultural activities and the Modernist Fair that fills parts of the district every year.
